Wembley Hotel makes no attempt to disguise its location, proudly proclaiming its proximity both to the central Wembley area and the famous stadium. The stadium itself is just a 15 minute walk from the hotel and the property remains a favourite source of budget accommodation with sports and music fans in town to catch a game or show. Its location is, in fact, one of its finest qualities with the Wembley Central tube station a 3 minute walk from the front doors of the hotel. The station is connected to central London via the Bakerloo Line, which takes about 25 minutes to run to Paddington station, where guests can use further services to access attractions as diverse as Buckingham Palace, Covent Garden and Greenwich.
The rooms of Wembley Hotel are rather simplistic as one would expect from a 2 star hotel. However, they have been designed and decorated in a classical style, which runs throughout the hotel, giving them an air of elegance. A generous continental breakfast is served each morning and is included in the room price, consisting of two fried eggs, toast, cereals, jams, tea, coffee and milk. However, guests may pay an extra £5 for a Full English breakfast, which includes all of the above plus sausages, bacon, potatoes and beans, making for a great and sumptuous start to the day.
