Village Hotel Elstree is surely one of London's most modern hotels. Built in 2008, the property's youth is evident in the energy it inspires in guests. if you like to live your life stylishly then this is the hotel for you. The property has a strong focus on partying, though this is kept to the few designated evenings. The hotel is equally suitable for the modern business traveller or families with young children.
The hotel is located in London's North-West in Elstree, just outside of Borehamwood. Borehamwood has several film studios and a long history in the industry as well as several sporting grounds and a great deal of pubs, restaurants and shopping opportunities. Elstree itself is far quieter and greener with the hotel being one of the village's most popular nighttime haunts. The centre of London is roughly a 30 minute journey away via the Elstree and Borehamwood train station, or the Stanmore tube station which is on the Jubilee Line. Both are less than a 10 minute drive from the hotel.
The property itself has a variety of leisure activities to keep guests entertained, including a 25 metre swimming pool complete with a Jacuzzi and a sauna as well as a state of the art gym containing cardiovascular equipment and free weights. The hotel also organises specially themed party nights every couple of weeks. Previous nights have included Christmas parties, couples' specials and a ladies' night. There is also an onsite Starbucks, where guests can purchase coffee to wash away those hangovers, as well as a pub and a restaurant. Those who have work to catch up on can book one of the meeting rooms with capacities of between 10 and 264 - ideal for conferences.
If Village Hotel Elstree could be encapsulated in one word, it would be 'modern'!
