The Tudor Lodge Hotel has a long history dating back to the 15th century where it started life as a rural farmhouse. These days the focus is definitely on providing good hospitality to guests as opposed to assorted farmyard animals, and the property isn't quite as rural as it once was. Whilst the outside of the hotel is recognisably traditional, the interiors are so modern that you'd hardly guess its heritage, giving it an idyllic traditional-meets-contemporary feel.
The property includes a fine dining restaurant called Fifty (named after its address - 50 Field End Road), which makes use of an elegant atmosphere and is available to hire for functions. The rooms of the hotel also have a contemporary feel with bedside lamps and light fixtures mounted into the walls, which can create an intimate and romantic mood. The sizes vary from the Standard Rooms to the larger Family Rooms and the expansive Honeymoon Suites, by far the most luxurious abodes. As well as being a great honeymoon location the hotel is also ideal for weddings with a bespoke service which can be tailored to your dream wedding and rooms with a capacity of up to 80.
