42 Prince's Square, Bayswater, London, W2 4AD - Guest Rating:
Is this photo useful? Yes | No Located in a quiet square just a couple of minutes' walk from Baker Street underground station (Circle, Bakerloo, Metropolitan and Hammersmith and City Lines). Ideally located for London Zoo, Madame Tussaud's and the Planetarium which are next to the station and with easy access to Oxford Street (just 2 stops on the Bakerloo Line) and many other attractions.
All rooms are medium-sized and offer bath and shower. The rooms are basic as you would expect of the category, although they are very, very clean and well maintained. Light wooden, modern furniture and pale painted walls decorate the rooms. Pure white bed linen and duvets have been chosen for every room, this adds to the feeling of cleanliness. The bathrooms are also very clean and well maintained.
The restaurant serves Indian food. It is buffet style and all you can eat for a set price. They serve a selection of main dishes with salad and breads. The restaurant is located in the basement and is very nicely decorated. Red brick walls and chrome finish furniture with lots of greenery.
There is also a small bar in the restaurant serving a selection of beers, wines, and spirits and a new Internet cafe with flat screens is available for guests.
The lobby is medium-sized, well set out and has a number of comfy chairs.
A traditional London townhouse with wrought iron railings and flower baskets adorning the entrance.
Overall a clean and well-presented property with an excellent location. Please note Standsted and Luton Airport coach service arrives and departs from stop located about 25 metres from the hotel, a very easy way to reach these two airports while avoiding train and taxi fares. (0808 RP-L)
