The dining area extends out to a generous south-facing terrace with seating for approximately 40 guests, inviting hotel guests and local alike to sit in the sun and enjoy alfresco dining. The Rockwell’s guest rooms offer contemporary styling and standards of comfort with a distinctly English twist. Many incorporate interesting traditional architectural details, giving each room its own atmosphere and ‘feel’. Guests can choose from a variety of room categories, from Premier Doubles to Mezzanine Suites and Garden Rooms with private south-facing patio and garden furniture. All rooms have en suite luxury shower rooms with The White Company toiletries. The public areas of the hotel also retain much of their original English charm. Details such as the intricate wrought-iron banisters and Victorian mosaic floor in the Reception area have been skillfully restored, whilst up-to-the-minute furniture and fabrics create an overall cutting-edge, yet supremely comfortable, designer look. Located within walking distance of the exhibition centers of Earls Court and Olympia, as well as the museums of South Kensington, The Rockwell is ideal for business and leisure travelers alike.
