Ramada Hotel and Suites London Docklands benefits from its waterfront location near the ExCel Exhibition Centre. At night its bright lights can be seen reflecting off of the water of the Docklands, making it an iconic and recognisable building. The ExCel Exhibition Centre is less than a 10 minute walk away, which makes this an ideal destination for those visiting the capital to catch one of the many shows and exhibitions that are held at the venue each year.
The Docklands are located in the east of London at about a half hour tube journey from the centre of the capital. The financial district of Canary Wharf is close by and the nearest tube station is Prince Regent, which is on the DLR (Docklands Light Railway) and just a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Guests can use the DLR to change onto the rest of the underground services.
The hotel offers a total of 224 rooms, 71 of which are one bedroom suites that feature kitchen facilities and are therefore ideal for guests staying in the city for an extended period of time. These have an additional living/dining area and some even have their own balconies.
The Stresa Restaurant at the Ramada Hotel and Suites London Docklands is an Italian-style restaurant offering the option of dining outside on the terrace. In the mornings an English breakfast buffet is served between 6.30am and 10.30am. The restaurant is then open from 12pm until 10pm serving lunch and dinner. In the evenings (and during the days too) the Oval Bar serves a variety of alcoholic and hot beverages and offers WiFi, staying open late into the night.
The two meeting rooms provide conferencing facilities with buffet catering, whilst the hotel's wedding license means that guests can either get married on-site or host their reception here. Bands and DJs are available for hire and the hotel has its own wedding planner.
