For a unique venue guests will find fewer hotels more genuine than the Radisson Edwardian Vanderbilt, one time Georgian home of the esteemed Vanderbilt family. Though it is now as much a modern property as the rest of its 4 star peers, it still retains the character of its Georgian incarnation, namely the romantic stained glass windows and painted ceilings. Its surroundings reflect its elegant dress too, with the prestigious areas of South Kensington and Chelsea and their bars and restaurants stretching out around it. With such plush surroundings guests will hardly feel the need to venture too far afield, but those that wish to explore the city will find the nearest tube station most convenient. Gloucester Road station is located at just a 2 minute walk from the front door of the hotel and is serviced by the Circle, District and Piccadilly Lines, which offer direct and easy access to the rest of the city. Just a few stops away are Hyde Park, Kensington Palace and Gardens and Buckingham Palace, whilst attractions such as the West End, Westminster Abbey and Covent Garden are short journeys.
Those who wish to taste what the city has to offer in the way of food are well placed to sample the numerous quality restaurants that surround the hotel. However, the property does have its own dining option in the form of the 68 - 86 Bar and Restaurant, which serves British cuisine in an elegantly artistic atmosphere, whether breakfast, lunch or dinner. Guests also have the option of trying an exotic cocktail at the glass bar before their meal.
The hotel is as adequately designed for corporate guests as it is for leisure travellers with 13 function rooms that can be used for events as diverse as meetings, training courses and weddings. The largest room has a maximum capacity of 100 and is equipped with the latest presentation and conferencing technologies. Guest bedrooms are available in Single Rooms, Standard Rooms, Deluxe King Rooms and a Deluxe Suite, each of which is larger and more luxurious than the last. The deluxe rooms include complimentary bar drinks and movies.

Those arriving into the city by air will find the centre of London rather easy to access. The Heathrow Express runs through to Paddington station and takes just 15 minutes and the Gatwick runs to Victoria in 30. Both of these stations are on the Circle Line, which guests can use to make their way to Gloucester Road. Once at Gloucester Road, guests will find that the hotel is a short walk around the corner on the Cromwell Road. Alternatively taxi services are available at the city's airports and stations.
Guests arriving to the hotel by car will find the most direct route to be from Junction 15 of the M25. From here guests should follow the M4 and subsequently the A4 into central London. The A4 will eventually merge with Cromwell Road, upon which the hotel is situated.
