Located to the north east of central London in the fashionable area of Shoreditch, all of the city's attractions are just a short tube ride away, whilst the best shops and restaurants are right at your doorstep. The nearest tube stations are Hoxton and Bethnal Green, both of which take less than 15 minutes to walk to. Hoxton is serviced by the London Overground and Bethnal Green by the Central Line, which offers guests fairly easy access to attractions such as the City of Westminster, Hyde Park and Covent Garden. Cambridge Heath is the nearby railway station and offers National Rail services, providing access to the rest of the country.
For the travelling business person the hotel offers a range of facilities including a business centre with fax machines, a conference room and broadband throughout the hotel. As well as a 24-hour front desk and security service, there is also a dry cleaning and laundry service, safe deposit boxes and an ice machine.
There are car parking facilities available on-site and these are charged at a rate of £20 per night. You must obtain a permit from the hotel before parking your car.
As a relatively new hotel, the rooms at RE Hotel Shoreditch are all very modern. They have been decorated in warm browns, complimented by the oak furnishings and the cream walls that surround the generous spaces.
The hotel has a full restaurant service, which includes breakfast, both Continental and Full English.
Children are welcome and baby cots are available on request.
The hotel and rooms are fully accessible and guide dogs are permitted.
Guests arriving from either of the city's major airports can take either the Gatwick Express (journey time of approximately 30 minutes) or the Heathrow Express (approximately 15 minutes) to Victoria railway station or Paddington railway station respectively. Once at Victoria, it's a relatively easy journey to the hotel's nearest tube station, Bethnal Green, and involves taking the Circle Line through to Liverpool Street and changing onto the Central Line to continue one stop to Bethnal Green. Passengers arriving through Heathrow will find a similarly simple journey awaiting them if they take the Hammersmith & City Line through to Liverpool Street and change onto the Central Line as above. Once at Bethnal Green the hotel is easy to find. Just follow the main road north along Cambridge Heath Road and turn left onto Hackney Road. Of course, there are taxi services available from all of the city's airports and major railway stations. Cambridge Heath is the nearest railway station to the Shoreditch Hotel.
Those arriving by car will find it simplest to leave the M25 at Junction 25 and follow the A10 straight into the centre of London until, after about 11 miles, you reach Hackney Road on the left. The hotel is perhaps a two minute drive along Hackney Road.
