It's a safe bet that your front garden isn't as big as the front garden of the Queens Park Hotel. Situated less than a 2 minute walk away, the hotel opens up onto the expansive Hyde Park, which covers roughly 350 acres and has more than enough room for a goldfish pond. The hotel is home to 99 ensuite rooms which were refurbished in 2010 and, though basic and uniformly designed in pedestrian patterns and fabrics, are pleasant enough, their minimal designs making use of the light.

The hotel's crowning glory however, is its central location. Less than a 10 minute walk from Kensington Palace and Gardens, the hotel is almost centralised in terms of attractions. The Natural History Museum lies just to the south of Hyde Park, whilst the theatres of the West End are a short journey to the east, along with Covent Garden. Shepherd's Bush and Westfield, Europe's largest shopping centre, are almost directly to the west, whilst Paddington station, offering transport links to the rest of Scotland, England and Wales, is also just a 10 minute walk away. The nearest tube stations are Queensway and Bayswater, both of which are less than a 5 minute meander from the hotel. Queensway is on the Central Line, whilst Bayswater is serviced by the Circle and District Lines, providing regular and convenient services to every corner of the city.

A hot breakfast is served daily at The Terrace, the hotel's breakfast room, between the hours of 7am - 10am weekdays and 8am - 11am weekends. On the menu is scrambled eggs, beef sausages, baked beans, mushrooms, croissants, breads, cheese, yoghurt, fruits, juices, cereals and tea and coffee. The conference rooms include overhead projectors and screens, televisions and WiFi. Refreshments can also be served.

Directions

Guests arriving through either of the city's main airports can take either the Gatwick Express through to Victoria with a journey time of approximately 30 minutes, or the Heathrow Express to Paddington in just half of that. Once at one of these stations, guests can catch the Circle Line through to Bayswater, which is just a short walk from the hotel. Upon exiting guests should follow the Queensway Road toward Hyde Park, turning left when they reach it and walking along the Bayswater Road. Guests should then take the second left on to Queensborough Terrace, where they should see the hotel almost immediately. Alternatively taxi services are available at any of they city's airports and railway stations.

Those who choose to drive to the hotel should follow signs for Hyde Park, central London and make their way to the Bayswater Road, which runs along the north edge of the park. From the Bayswater Road guests should exit on to Queensborough Terrace, which is near the northwest corner. This is where the hotel is located.
