This 3-star tourist-class hotel is centrally located in Bayswater area, a short walk from Kensington Gardens and near Paddington train station. This is a very basic accommodation (perhaps more of a 2-star standard) suitable for budget travellers wishing to stay in a central area will good transport links. LOCATION -The hotel is centrally located in Bayswater in a quiet and green residential square only 5-min walk from Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. It lies very close to Paddington station (1 stop by tube or a few stops by bus) which has direct train connections to Heathrow airport. There are 2 tube stations in the proximity (Bayswater nearest, and Queensway) giving access to 3 different metro lines. The surrounding area is full of cafes and shops including the large shopping centre Whiteleys. The trendy Notting Hill area with many bars, restaurants and the famous Portobello market is also within walking distance. A public health centre Porchester Centre with a gym and a large swimming pool is a short walk from the hotel. The main shopping area Oxford Street is only a couple of tube or bus stops away. EXTERIOR- The property is a 4-storey traditional Victorian residential building with a white facade and a quiet courtyard with outdoor seating. Guests can also use the residential square's private garden. ROOMS-Rooms are generally small in size and simply furnished in a slightly old-fashioned style. Bathrooms are small and have shower/bath combined. Some rooms overlook the street while other face the garden. RESTAURANTS &, BARS There is no restaurant or bar in the hotel, however the reception sells soft drinks and provides tea/ coffee making facilities. Simple continental breakfast is served in the basement breakfast room (hard-boiled eggs, toasts, cheese, jams, cereal, hot drinks and juices) from 7am to 10am and from 7.30 to 10.30am on weekends.
