Notting Hill Gate Hotel has been recently rejuvenated with a full refurbishment, bringing its interior back to life and in line with the twenty-first century. The refurbishment includes brand new guest rooms which, although rather compact, are elegantly decorated and feature modern plasma television sets.
The hotel's greatest asset, however, is its superb location. Located on the northwest corner of Hyde Park, picnics, boat trips and horse rides are just a stone's throw away, whilst the hotel is still close enough to Notting Hill to enjoy the prestige of the area. The Portobello Market is a short walk away with Kensington Palace and Gardens just to the south. There are also two neighbouring tube stations, Queensway and Notting Hill Gate, each around a 10 minute walk away. The former is serviced by the Central Line, whilst the latter is on the Central, Circle and District Lines, providing guests with easy access to the rest of the city's attractions, such as Buckingham Palace, the West End and Greenwich.

Guests arriving through either of the city's main airports can take either the Heathrow Express to Paddington station, or the Gatwick Express to Victoria. Both of these railway stations are on the Circle Line, which guests can take through to Notting Hill Gate. From here the hotel is a short walk along the main road toward Hyde Park and left on to Clanricarde Gardens. Alternatively taxi services are available from any of the city's airports or railway stations.
Guests arriving by car should follow signs for Hyde Park, central London, and make their way to the Bayswater Road, which runs along the north side of the park. Clanircarde Gardens is on the northeast corner of the park.
