The Melita House Hotel is a family run property and has been so for generations. The building dates back to the Victorian era in the 1850s and the service and amenities at the hotel are great for a property in the 3 star category.
The hotel is located in the busy area of Victoria, close to many theatres. The Tate Britain, Buckingham Palace and the Houses of Parliament are all within walking distance, whilst the underground tube service allows guests to easily access points of interest further afield. Pimlico is just a 5 minute walk from the hotel and is situated on the Victoria Line, whilst Victoria station and underground are less than 10 minutes in the opposite direction. Victoria is serviced by the Victoria, District and Central Lines as well as having National Rail services, meaning that guests can explore the entire of the city and even the rest of the country if they so wish. Landmarks such as Hyde Park, Covent Garden, the West End and The London Eye are all short tube rides away.

Guests arriving through either of the city's major airports should take the appropriate Express service into the city. The Heathrow Express runs to Paddington with a journey time of 15 minutes, whilst the Gatwick Express takes 30 to get to Victoria. Guests arriving through Paddington should take the Circle Line to Victoria, where they will be well placed to make their way to the hotel. There are taxi services available at the station, as well as at any other major station or airport. Alternatively, if guests wish to walk they can make their way south along Wilton Road until they reach Belgrave Road. Guests should continue south along Belgrave Road and take the first right onto Charlwood Street.
Visitors arriving by car should follow signs for Hyde Park, central London, taking the south-east exit onto Grosvenor Place. Guests should follow Grosvenor Place onto Neathouse Place before turning left onto Wilton Road. Guests should then take the first right onto Gillingham Street, followed by the second left onto Belgrave Road. Guests should stay on Belgrave Road until they reach Charlwood Street on the right, upon which the hotel is located.
