The Kensington Town House is situated in between Earl's Court and Gloucester Road in the west of London. Whilst not quite located in the more fashionable parts of Kensington, the hotel is nonetheless within a short walking distance of shopping streets including High Street Kensington, Sloane Square, Chelsea and Knightsbridge, with plenty of desirable and exclusive roads in the surrounding area. Hyde Park and museums including the Natural History Museum are also within a reasonable distance, and the West End of London with its plethora of nightclubs, theatres, bars and restaurants is just around the corner from the hotel district. Earl's Court Exhibition Centre is also located close by, making the hotel a good choice for delegates with business in the area. The nearest tube station is Earl's Court on the District and Piccadilly lines, but Gloucester Road is also nearby and links to the Circle line too.
The hotel is well-equipped to meet the demands of business travellers with its contemporary conference room. The meeting room features all the equipment needed to host a successful gathering, including television, DVD player, projector, screen, flip chart, pens and computer with free WiFi access. Complimentary internet access is available throughout the hotel building. Other facilities include free use of a nearby gym, fruit and sparkling water upon arrival and a laundry service.
All 65 bedrooms at the Kensington Town House have been recently refurbished to a very high standard, with a smart and attractive design in caramel and cream tones and thoughtful additions such as leather headboards and floral furnishings. Each room has its own ensuite bathroom in addition to a range of contemporary and practical amenities. These include air conditioning, satellite television with movies on-demand, free WiFi access, bathrobes, hairdryer, telephone, coffee and tea making facilities and mini fridge. There are more spacious suites on offer for larger groups and those who want an extra luxurious touch, with additional features including a television in the bathroom.
The hotel has its own breakfast room where breakfast is served each morning for an additional fee. The restaurant is not open for any other meal, but there are plenty of dining options in the local area and especially in the West End of London.
