Hounslow, a town on the edge of greater London, is principally of interest to travellers for its range of affordable hotels and its geographical position: close to Heathrow, with great transport links into the city. Although Hounslow hotels are more popular for their practicalities than the area's nearby attractions, they are also near the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew, and Richmond Park, London’s largest green space.
Hounslow hotels are generally budget establishments useful for their transport links, and the 2-star Civic Guest House is the closest to the tube station, as well as being cheap and comfortable. Likewise, the 3-star Crompton Guest House is a family-run B&B with an excellent level of customer satisfaction.
The 4-star Continental Hotel is also nearby, and is Hounslow East’s most upmarket place to stay. It comes equipped with beautifully furnished rooms, as well as a spa, swimming pool and an excellent restaurant. It’s more expensive than most Hounslow hotels but certainly an excellent choice for anyone who demands luxury from their hotel.
Hounslow East tube station sits on the Piccadilly Line between Hounslow Central and Osterley, and offers regular service to both Heathrow and the centre of London.
