The idyllic village of Richmond in many ways has the feel of a traditional English country town, with its sweeping views across fields and the river Thames, the expanse of Ham Common and the stunning Richmond Park with its own wild deer. The Hobart Hall Hotel certainly makes the best of its slightly rural location, possessing gardens that lead down to the banks of the Thames from where visitors can hop on a boat and visit Hampton Court Palace, Teddington Locks and Kingston town in a short time. Richmond itself is full of cafés, restaurants and shops, and central London is easily accessible via the District and London Overground lines.
Free Wi-Fi is provided for all guests in the lounge area.
Parking is available at the Hobart Hall Hotel.
The Hobart Hall Hotel is quite unusual in that it provides a real range of accommodation to cater for different groups on varying budgets. Young travellers, students and those looking to stay in quality rooms whilst saving money could do worse than the several rooms with shared bathroom facilities, with other ensuite rooms available to guests after a more traditional hotel experience. Some ensuite rooms even have views of the river Thames, as well as a few more luxurious touches. All ensuite rooms contain a television, telephone, tea and coffee making facilities and trouser press, with irons and hairdryers available upon request from reception. There is a choice of single, double or twin sizes for all rooms, with family ensuites also available.
The hotel does not have its own restaurant although there are plenty of options in Richmond and further afield in central London, although a good and varied continental breakfast is served each morning and included in the room rate. A cooked English breakfast is available at an additional cost of £5.00.
