First-time visitors or those on a short city break to London will be well served by the location of the Grenville House Hotel, which can be found on a relatively quiet street in the midst of central London and the historic Bloomsbury area. With important roads such as Gray's Inn Road and Clerkenwell Road just around the corner, the hotel is excellently placed for an array of restaurants, shops and bars, as well as being within walking distance of many of London's top sights. The British Museum, Piccadilly Circus, Leicester Square, Covent Garden and Oxford Street are all a short distance from the hotel, and the building is within walking distance of Russell Square, Holborn and King's Cross railway stations. This provides access to the rest of London via the Piccadilly, Central, Circle, Hammersmith and City, Victoria, Northern and Metropolitan lines. The Brunswick shopping centre is just around the corner, and a Nuffield Health Centre is located directly across the street from the hotel.
As the hotel is designed to be a budget option, there are not a great deal of extra facilities on offer outside of the bedrooms. However, there is a tour desk to help you organise your stay and babysitting services are available upon request.
The Grenville House Hotel offers simple, no-frills accommodation in a central location, and consequently all guest rooms are outfitted in a basic way. Nonetheless, the pale wooden furniture and pastel colour scheme is homely and clean, and although rooms do vary in size most are of a medium size that does not prove restrictive. Single, double, triple and family occupancy rates are available. In-room amenities include internet access, hairdryer, tea and coffee maker, television and telephone, and come equipped with an ensuite bathroom.
Breakfast is included in all room rates. For the rest of your meals, there are plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance, particularly in the Brunswick Centre just around the corner, or else the whole of London is at your feet via the Underground.
