DESCRIPTION
The hotel is situated in the Tower Hill area, within a minutes walk of the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. The west end is just a short underground or taxi ride away. Tower Hill underground station (District & Circle lines) is a two minute walk away. The bedrooms are medium sized, however, all are very well decorated with deep colours and are furnished to a high standard with panoramic floor to ceiling windows, some with superb views of the Tower. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, a dedicated work space, computer modem points, digital satellite televisions and music centres. The marble and granite bathrooms are maintained to a similar standard and are stocked with Neutrogena or Molton Brown toiletries. A small number of bedrooms also have a balcony area which can be used in the summer months. The hotel has two main restaurants. The Forum offers more formal dining with a Mediterranean influenced menu, whilst Koto II is a relaxed Japanese sushi and noodle bar. In addition, the Lutetia wine bar serves drinks throughout the day as well as light snacks. The lobby is well designed, with a central reception station. The style of decoration is eastern influenced with marble columns and comfortable sofas. This is a modern block. The hotel is also equipped with an excellent leisure centre featuring a 25 metre indoor pool, gymnasium with an extensive range of cardiovascular and weight machines and aerobics studio. These facilities are complemented by massage, spa, and beauty therapy suites. Adjoining the pool and relaxation deck are steam, sauna and aroma therapy suites and a pool side juice bar.
