They say that the best way to get noticed is to stand out from the crowd and Euro Hotel Clapham certainly does that. It has a very distinctive Victorian façade unlike any other. The hotel is spread out over four floors, making it look a nineteenth century mansion, but most distinctive is the spire tacked on one corner with its rounded walls, front entrance and rooftop that looks suspiciously like a witch's hat.
The hotel is located in zone 2 just to the south of the city centre. Clapham is a fairly quiet, green area. The large Clapham Common that sits directly opposite the hotel is the ideal place to wind away a sunny Saturday afternoon, enjoying a picnic, taking a relaxing stroll, having a kick about, or maybe even feeding the ducks in the ponds. Guests can also visit the famous Oval Cricket Ground or the Battersea Arts Centre, catering for a range of different interests.
The property is just down the road from the nearest tube station, Clapham South, which takes about 5 minutes to walk to. The station is situated on the Northern Line, meaning that the sights and sounds of London's thriving city centre are a short tube ride away.
The rooms in the hotel are fairly basic but of a good size and nicely decorated in light, airy colours that emphasise the space. The furnishings are all modern and pleasant.

Guests arriving through either of the city's main airports should first make their way to the city centre via the Heathrow Express (travelling to Paddington station) or the Gatwick Express (Victoria station). Those arriving at Paddington should take the Circle Line through to Embankment where they should change onto the Northern Line to continue their journey to Clapham South. Those arriving at Victoria should take the Victoria Line to Stockwell where they can switch onto the Northern Line. From Clapham South guests need only walk the 5 minutes north along Clapham Common South Side to reach the hotel.
Those arriving by car should leave the M25 at Junction 9 and simply follow the A24 towards central London. Clapham Common South Side is located on the A24 about 14 miles in from the M25.
