The Dorchester Hotel London has a very convenient central location, on London’s famous Park Lane with its exclusive rare shops, fine gourmet restaurants and sophisticated nightlife. Just ten minutes or so walk away is Piccadilly Circus, giving access to the whole of London’s exciting West End. The hotel is also within walking distance of Marble Arch and Oxford Street, London’s most famous shopping area and a lively tourist destination. For a different type of entertainment, visit London’s nearby Theatreland and catch some of the hit shows on offer, like Jersey Boys, Blood Brothers, Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables. Alternatively, just relax in the tranquil vistas of London’s expansive and picturesque Hyde Park, which will be right on your doorstep. This is also home to the Princess Diana Memorial Fountain and the Serpentine Gallery.

For travelling to other areas of London, Hyde Park Corner is the closest tube train station, giving access to the Piccadilly line which goes all across London, including to Heathrow.


The famous Dorchester Spa gives a wide-range of refreshing and exhilarating treatments, including skincare, facials, aromatherapy, massage, manicures, pedicures and beauty treatments. An on-site barber shop and nail parlour provide further pampering, and a gym is available with a full set of Technogym cardiovascular and resistance equipment, including a personal trainer option. The hotel has 250 rooms, all of which effervesce with 1930’s style glamour, sleek antique furniture and the ultimate in comfortable furnishings. You can choose from a selection of single and double guestrooms, suites and roof-suites, each with increasing scales of luxury. For twin beds, it is necessary to book one of the suites.

Each room comes equipped with air-conditioning, LCD satellite receiving TV, DVD players, stereo systems, minibar facilities, and Floris, marble ensuite bathrooms with shower and bath facilities. All rooms have 24 hour room service. The suites come with separate lounge areas, and for true indulgence, enjoy the rooftop suites with their abundance of space and wonderful views.


The hotel offers some of the finest dining facilities available in London. It is renowned for its afternoon teas in the opulently decorated Promenade, which also has its own well stocked bar that plays home to jazz piano from 2.30pm each afternoon, and a jazz duo from 7.30pm each evening. Then there is the Spatisserie, a more informal venue that provides light lunches, cocktails and its own afternoon tea. For main meals, you can enjoy The Grill at the Dorchester where Head Chef Brian Hughson provides innovative takes on popular British classics. However, for true luxury visit Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester, where the Michelin star holding chef presents some of his best loved French cuisine for your delectation. Finally, there’s even a Chinese option available, with China Tang at the Dorchester providing an array of authentic Chinese dishes to try.

For Children

Children under two are allowed to stay for free if sharing a room with their parents. Highchairs and crib are available, and babysitting crèches are also provided


The Dorchester has wheelchair accessible rooms, a lift that goes to most floors and it also welcomes guide dogs.
