Located in the rural countryside area of Chesham, Berkshire, nestled among the Parkfield Woods, De Vere Venues Latimer Place is perhaps the English rose of hotels. This is a great location for those who prefer the draw of the countryside as opposed to the pull of the city, though it is just a 35 minute train ride to the centre of London via the nearest railway station, Little Chalfont. It's also a short drive from both Luton and Heathrow Airport.
The beauty of the redbricked Latimer House is reflected in its 30 acres of grounds and in its elegant interior decor. With 51 meeting rooms holding a maximum of 220 guests, this is a popular venue for corporate meetings and events, whilst its expansive grounds are a great place for team building activities. The hotel works with a number of companies who specialise in team building events and the hotel even has its own treasure hunt set up. There's also a wedding co-ordinator to help you organise your special day, with three on-site venues to choose from.
When you're not working, sightseeing or tying the knot, the indoor pool is the ideal place to burn off some calories before relaxing in the sauna. There's also a spa bath and a mini gym or, to get some company competitiveness going, the five-aside football pitch provides a venue for sport. In the evenings guests can dine on-site at the restaurant and bar.
Try some team-building exercises with the hotel's on-site treasure hunt.
