The pale blue facade of the Costello Palace is almost reminiscent of a seaside hotel, but in fact it is a central London property located in the north of the capital in the Finsbury Park district. Finsbury Park is somewhat removed from the hectic pace of the city centre, but nonetheless enjoys a vibrant local town centre with restaurants, bars and takeaway shops and is located on the Victoria and National Rail rail networks, providing quick and easy access across the city. The West End can be reached in under 20 minutes, where all the theatres and nightlife that it has to offer await.
There are 44 bedrooms in total at the Costello Palace Hotel, all of which are of the standard quality one would expect of a budget hotel. Each room is compact, with single, twin, double, triple or family sizes available, and all rooms have a basic design consisting of wooden furnishings, a neutral colour scheme and patterned bed linen. The overall effect is not luxurious, but nonetheless there are amenities including a television, telephone and hairdryer and if it is cheap accommodation that you are after it is of a perfectly reasonable standard.
Whilst there are few additional facilities at the hotel, guests can take advantage of the 24 hour reception and business services including faxing and photocopying. There is no restaurant as such but breakfast is served each morning in the classic breakfast room, and there is a lounge that operates a bar service throughout the day if you just want to relax and enjoy a glass of wine at the end of a busy day.
