As its name might misleadingly suggest, The Comfort Inn Buckingham Palace is not part of the royal residency. But it is very close to it. Buckingham Palace is a 15 minute walk away with the Palace of Westminster and Hyde Park just a little further. The many theatres of the Victoria area surround the hotel and it is just a 7 minute walk from Victoria station. The station is on the Victoria, Circle and District underground lines offering convenient services to locations as diverse as Earl's Court, The London Zoo and South Bank as well as anywhere else guests may wish to go.
The hotel itself is part of a popular chain and as such is a solid, middle of the road type property with basic but good quality amenities and services. The rooms are fairly standard and maintain a uniform style but have all of the comforts one would expect. A Continental breakfast is served in the breakfast room on the ground floor each morning between 7.30 and 9am and costs £8. For business guests a meeting room is available and can accommodate up to 12 people. There is a range of meeting equipment available to borrow.
Breakfast is free for children under the age of 12.

Guests travelling to the Comfort Inn Buckingham Palace by air can take the appropriate Express service into the city centre. The Gatwick Express runs to Victoria station with a journey time of approximately 30 minutes, whilst the Heathrow Express runs to Paddington in just half of that. Guests arriving through Victoria will be well placed to reach the hotel whilst those coming through Paddington should take the Circle Line to Victoria. On arriving at Victoria station guests should exit and walk south along Wilton Road, taking the first right onto Hudson's Place, leading to Bridge Place. At the end of the road guests should walk straight across onto Hugh Street, which leads to St George's Drive. The hotel is on the corner. The walk should take less than 10 minutes and taxi services are available at the city's airports and major train stations as an alternative method of travel.
Those arriving by car should leave the M25 at Junction 16 and take the M4 and subsequently the A4 towards and through central London. Guests should stay on the A4 until they reach Knightsbridge Road, which runs along the south of Hyde Park. Here they should take a hairpin right onto Sloane Street, taking the first exit at the roundabout followed by the fourth right onto Elizabeth Street. Elizabeth Street leads to St. George's Drive.
